Reservation, Cancellation, and Damage Policy
Every guest is bound to the following Reservation, Cancellation, and Damage Policy Rules, whether you make your reservations on-line, or by phone, with our assistance. Please read through the following, to insure that we are all on the same page regarding our policies here at Springdale Inn. Thank you!
The rates listed on our website are per night, single/double occupancy, (sales tax of 5.5% will be added); and are subject to change without notice. All rates, aside from one of our corporate/government specials, include breakfast. We can accommodate a third adult in some of our rooms, for an additional charge of $50.00 per night.
Emergency Closure: We reserve the right to close our inn without advance notice. While this is unlikely, it may be necessary because of a family emergency. In the case of an Emergency Closure, we will issue you a full refund, and will do our best to find you alternative lodging. Thank you!

Non-Smoking Policy: We are proud to be a Smoke-Free Environment. So that we may insure the wellness and comfort of all of our guests, Springdale Inn is a non-smoking property, both indoors and outdoors. We impose a strict non-smoking policy on our entire 97 acres. If you choose to smoke any substance on our property, you can expect to pay a $250.00 smoking penalty fee, in addition to any damage fees which result either directly or indirectly from your smoking. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
Children ages 16 and older are welcome under special arrangement; please let us know of your needs in advance. If your party books four or five rooms, children of all ages are welcome. On certain dates, children are welcome when you book three rooms. Please call for more information. We LOVE children, and we love to host family gatherings!

Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is typically from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. We can accommodate your check-in, at just about any hour, as long as we know the approximate time in advance. Our check-out is typically at ~ 11:00 a.m. Yet we can, if our guest schedule allows, sometimes accommodate a later check-out. Early check-in and late check-out are often yet not always available. We appreciate your understanding, and will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Pet Policy: We do care about your pet! While we do not allow pets either indoors or outdoors, we will assist you in making arrangements for your petor pets at a wonderful petresort just 10 minutes away.
Cot Policy:We do not permit guests to bring their own inflatable bed/cot. If there are two guests in a room, we will provide a complimentary cot, free of any extra charges. If you would like a cot in your room (some, but not all of our rooms accommodate a cot), and you are the 3rd guest in the room, there is an extra guest charge of $50.00 per night, which includes your breakfast and all amenities.
Damage Policy: In the event that a paying guest damages our floor, carpeting, countertop, appliances, electronic equipment, walls, windows or doors, furniture, or any other object owned by Springdale Inn, the guest will be charged for the cost of replacement or repairs plus a 10% fee to compensate the Innkeeper for making arrangements for the repairs. In the event a visiting friend/family member of a paying guest causes any damage, the paying guest will assume all responsibility for such damage.
Cancellation Policy: (With the exception of Whole Inn Rentals, Longer-Term Rentals, and Epic Systems UGM Conference Week, as described below in Whole Inn Rentals, Longer-Term Rentals, and Epic UGM Conference Cancellation and Room Change Policy,) If you cancel your reservation at least 14 days prior to your visit, we will refund your payment in full. If cancellation is 7 to 13 days prior to your stay, a gift certificate will be issued to you to be used at Springdale Inn at a later date. If your cancellation is less than 7 days before your stay, your full payment will become a contribution to Springdale Inn’s Prairie and Oak Savanna restoration project.
Whole Inn Rentals: if you reserve our entire inn, for one or more nights, you must cancel 35 days before your date of check-in in order to receive a full refund. For whole inn rentals, we will charge your credit card the total due 5 weeks before your arrival. The reason for this policy is that, if a potential guest reserves the entire inn, and cancels less than 5 weeks before their check-in date, we will very likely be left with an empty inn. We appreciate your understanding. Because we are a small inn, late cancellations have a big impact.
Longer-Term Rentals: If you reserve a room for 5 nights or longer, you must cancel 28 days before your date of check-in in order to receive a full refund. For longer-term rentals, we will charge your credit card the total due 28 days before your arrival. The reason for this policy is that, if a potential guest reserves a room or multiple rooms for 5 or more nights, and cancels less than 28 days before their check-in date, we will very likely be left with an empty room/rooms. We appreciate your understanding. Because we are a small inn, late cancellations have a big impact.
Epic UGM Cancellation and Room Change Policy: During Epic UGM Conferences, because every hotel and B&B from Madison to the Wisconsin Dells is filled to capacity, we strictly enforce the following Room Change and Cancellation policies: Thank you in advance for accepting and respecting our Epic UGM Policies. Please read over our entire policy, above, so that you will be aware of and understand all of our policies, including our non-smoking policy and our damage policy. Thank you!
1) Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your reservation at least 120 days prior to your visit, we will refund your payment in full. If cancellation is less than 120 days prior to your stay, you will be held responsible for the full price of your original four or more night charges.
2) If you reduce the number of nights of your reservation less than 90 days before of the first day of your original reservation, your new reservation will reflect our current rates, which may be higher than your original rates.
3) We require a four night minimum stay. You may stay less than four nights, if you wish, yet you will be charged for four nights.
